For Cory Cole, illustrations were simply part of a lunchtime routine with her son. Cartoon drawings and puns were entertainment more than anything. If others enjoyed them too, that was a bonus. Illustrating a children’s book was a far-off dream at best. Little did she know that a perfect stranger was writing a story and a golden opportunity was taking shape.
